He later attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music &amp; Art and Performing Arts. He studied at SUNY Stony Brook before transferring to Queens College, where he completed only one semester. Soon after, he moved to Los Angeles, the heart of the American film industry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brody made his big-screen debut in 1989 in <em>New York Stories<\/em>, a three-part film exploring the lives of New Yorkers. The segments, directed by Woody Allen, Martin Scorsese, and Francis Ford Coppola, each told very different tales. For her 31st birthday, he purchased a 19th-century farm in upstate New York and renovated it into a castle. Their relationship ended in 2009, and a year later, Pataky married Australian actor Chris Hemsworth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In February 2020, Brody\u2019s relationship with British actress, singer, and designer Georgina Chapman became public.
